Allegro Studio Piano Lesson Policies & Enrollment Information | Katy, TX

Allegro Studio provides personalized piano instruction for all ages across Katy, Richmond, and Fulshear. Our studio operates with a clear lesson agreement and policies, designed to promote musical development through a commitment to consistency, open communication, and high-quality instruction. Lesson Schedule & Calendar

• We operate year-round in two semesters: January–June and July–December.

• Our breaks generally align with the Katy ISD academic calendar, including Thanksgiving, Winter, and Spring Breaks.
  
  

Tuition & Fees

• Our all-inclusive tuition is billed monthly and includes weekly private lessons, Allegro recital fees, and all required learning materials. Our all-inclusive tuition offers a competitive piano lessons rate for comprehensive instruction. 

• Unlike other studios, we do not charge a registration fee!

• Our monthly tuition rates are structured to accommodate different lesson lengths and learning paces. For 30-minute lessons, the monthly tuition is $165, 45-minute sessions are $245 per month, and for comprehensive 60-minute lessons, monthly tuition is $325. 

• Payments are made through Teachworks® and require autopay. Payments are due on the 1st of each month and late fees apply after the 5th.
  
  

Absences & Makeups

• Each student may reschedule up to 2 lessons per semester.

• Makeups may be held in person (at the end of the semester) or through our PracticeSpace® online platform for virtual piano lessons  (anytime).

• Extended absences (4 or more consecutive) require 30 days' notice and a holding fee to retain the student's lesson slot.
  
  

Performance & Progress

• Students will participate in up to two recitals per year and periodic jury panels for feedback and motivation.

• These opportunities help build confidence and stage presence, providing a full piano lessons with recital experience
  
  

Learning Materials & Technology

• Unlike other studios, we do not charge for required music books. Tuition includes all required method books and sheet music!

• We utilize Teachworks® for scheduling and billing, and PracticeSpace® to promote student engagement and to encourage practice at home with custom assignments, videos, and a built-in practice tracker.
